1. Introduction
This policy explains how MRJ (trading as baaark.com), registered in Poland (REGON 385160952, NIP PL7532455176), uses cookies and similar storage on baaark.com. Read it alongside the privacy policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Local storage is a similar mechanism that stays in the browser and is never sent to a server. Both are used here only for the purposes listed below.
3. What this site stores
| Name | Set by | Category | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
consent | This site | Necessary | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again. | 12 months |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare Turnstile | Necessary | Set only on pages with a form, to tell people from bots without a CAPTCHA puzzle. | 30 minutes |
bk-doodle (local storage) | This site | Functional | If you draw a doodle on a case-study page and choose to send it, the drawing is held in your browser until the contact form attaches it. Deleted when you send the form or press the × on the doodle. | Until sent or deleted |
| Session cookies | Supabase Auth | Necessary | Only if you are a client who logs in to edit your own site. Keeps you signed in. | Session / 7 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Analytics | Only if you allow Analytics cookies. Tells visits apart with a random identifier so we can see which pages are useful and which lead to enquiries. | 2 years |
4. Visit counting without cookies
We count visits with our own first-party counter. It records the page, the referrer, the country and a hash made from your IP address and browser with a salt that rotates every few days. No cookie is set, no identifier is stored in your browser, nothing is shared with a third party, and the hash cannot be reversed. This falls under our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.
4.1 Google Analytics (only with your consent)
We also use Google Analytics 4, but only if you choose "Accept all" or switch on Analytics in the cookie banner. Until then it is not loaded and sets no cookies. "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all", and the site works the same either way. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, "Accept all" still leaves marketing off. What Google Analytics collects, and how long it is kept, is in section 7 of the privacy policy. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a tool.
5. Third parties
Payments and subscriptions happen on our billing site, billing.baaark.com (WordPress with SureCart and Stripe), which sets its own strictly necessary cookies for the cart and checkout. Embedded YouTube Shorts on case-study pages only load when you click them, and YouTube's own cookie policy applies from that point.
6. Managing cookies
- Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to change your choice at any time
- Your browser lets you view, block and delete cookies: see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge
- Blocking the necessary cookies may stop the forms from working
7. Changes
If we add or remove a tool that needs consent, this list changes, the banner asks again, and the date above moves.
