Four boring jobs, not a dark art: a Google Business Profile that says what you do, your name, address and number agreeing everywhere, a page for every service, and honest pages for the towns you actually work in. I did all four for V Signs.

What you get

Listed.

One name, one address, one number — on Google, Bing, Apple, Royal Mail PAF and 25+ directories.

Categorised.

The profile says what you do. V Signs went from one category to five.

Paged.

A page per thing you sell. V Signs: twenty-one service pages, each a search landing.

Local.

Honest area pages — only for towns you really work in, inside Google's rules. Never a fake address.

Reviewed.

Every review answered, in your voice, within the week.

Measured.

Baseline captured first; monthly reports after. Nothing on the page is invented.

How it works

Three steps. Then you're live.

01

Baseline

I capture what's true today — profile views, calls, search terms, the listings that disagree — so the after means something.

02

The four jobs, in that order. Profile first; it's the fastest win.

Monthly: what ranked, what rang, what changed. Numbers from Google, not from me.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I need a Google Business Profile if I have a website?

Yes. The website gets you chosen; the profile gets you seen. A good site can sit invisible until the profile is fixed. The website packs →

Why does Google show my old phone number?

Google didn't invent it — it copied it from somewhere. Your old site, Yell, Facebook, or one of the company-data sites that publish your registered office from Companies House (often your accountant's). Google, Bing and Apple all read those. I find every copy and fix them in order, so it can't drift back.

Are town pages against Google's rules?

Fake ones are. A page per town is fine when it says something true about that town — real jobs, real drive time — and never claims an address you don't have. That's the only kind I build. What the V Signs numbers did →

How long before it works?

The profile changes show in days. Listings take weeks to propagate. Pages and towns build over months. I show you the numbers as they land. Or let the reels carry the keywords →

Can I do it myself?

The profile and the review replies, yes — and I'll tell you how. The listings and the pages are worth paying for. Send me the basics →

What do you need from me?

Access to the profile (shared safely), every old number and address, and photos of real jobs.

Rough idea?

Let's build it properly.
