The brief

Every build starts as a drawing. So the homepage does too, and your cursor turns it into the finished house.

Calvin set up Cloud Nine in 2025 after almost ten years building high-end homes for other firms. The work he wants more of is big: new builds and period renovations, the kind of job where a client is trusting one team with their home and a serious budget for months. The site had to look like that kind of builder, put the right people at ease, and quietly sort the serious projects from the small ones before anyone picks up the phone.

  • Look as considered as the homes they build
  • Answer the fears people have about builders before they have to ask
  • Ask the questions Petra asks on the phone, so every enquiry arrives already qualified

Under the bonnet

Drawn.

The hero drawing is measured geometry, not a trace: every wall, window and brick course placed on the real photo, then revealed by the cursor.

Reassured.

"Letting a builder into your home is a big decision." The fears come first, answered with agreed timelines and a full breakdown of costs.

Qualified.

A step-by-step enquiry with icon answers. No planning yet? It offers an introduction to an architect instead of a dead end.

Proven.

FMB membership, the local football teams they sponsor, their apprentice and their real projects, on the pages where they count.

Fast.

Self-hosted fonts, AVIF and WebP photos at five sizes, and motion that waits until you scroll to it.

Hosted.

Exported on to the BAAARK! Sites platform, with enquiries landing in one inbox and the domain staying theirs.

In their words

“I've never ever seen it on anyone else's page in construction. You kind of go, well, that's different.”
