In short
- You film the job on your phone, vertically, with people working in shot. Talking to camera is a bonus, not a must.
- Drop the clips and photos in one project folder with a one-page note about the job.
- I turn each job into two posts, with a thumbnail and a version written for each platform, scheduled across the week.
- Filming days are £300 a day if you want them, but phone footage is honestly enough.
How do small businesses get social media content without doing it all themselves? You do the part only you can do, which is film the work, and hand the rest to me. You drop your clips in a folder with a short note about the job. I turn it into finished posts, written separately for each platform, and schedule them across the week.
How do you get social media content without doing it all yourself?
Split the job in two. Nobody else can stand on your site while the work happens, so filming stays with you. Everything after that (editing, covers, captions, hashtags, scheduling) is where the hours go, and that's the bit I take off your hands.
Your part: film the job on your phone
Hold the phone upright. Vertical video fits Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts without cropping.
Try to get people in the shot: hands fitting, a van door opening, someone stepping back to look at the finished job. Work with people in it feels real in a way a finished photo on its own doesn't.
If you're happy to say a few words to camera, even better. It isn't necessary. Plenty of good posts have no talking at all.
The project folder and the one-page job note
Each job gets its own folder on Google Drive, SharePoint, Dropbox or whatever you already use. Put every photo and clip in it, plus a short Word document with the details: who the client was, what you did, where, and anything worth knowing. That note is the context I write from, so the captions say something true about the job rather than something generic.
My part: two posts a job, made for each platform
From each folder I make two posts: a video, an image or a carousel, depending on what you've sent. For each one I design a thumbnail and write a separate version for every platform, aimed at the kind of people who use it. Then they're scheduled out over the week.

The same job, written twice
Here's a real one. V Signs is a sign and wrap company near Petersfield, and I run their socials. This is the job they posted for Lanzante's new VW Caddy.

The Instagram caption:
Sometimes the classiest branding is the quietest. 🐘
Bespoke vehicle graphics for Lanzante, the supercar and motorsport specialists in Petersfield, Hampshire. Designed, printed and fitted in-house.
You might know Lanzante for winning Le Mans in a McLaren F1, or for the rare McLarens, Porsches and Paganis that pass through their Petersfield workshop. For their own new Caddy we kept it subtle: a ghosted elephant crest and a LANZANTE wordmark, all in tones just off the paint. As understated as the cars they build.

The Facebook caption:
The most understated van we've done, and that was exactly the brief. 🐘
If you don't know Lanzante, they're the Petersfield specialists who service, restore and build some of the rarest cars on earth, from the Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 to Porsches, Paganis and their own bespoke supercars. They also run McLaren Petersfield. So when they came to us for vehicle graphics on their new VW Caddy, subtle was the whole point.
No loud full wrap. Instead we designed a tone-on-tone treatment: their elephant crest ghosted into the panel and a subtle LANZANTE wordmark, all in tones that sit just off the paint colour. Designed, printed and fitted in-house.
It's a lovely example of how vehicle graphics don't have to shout to work. For a premium brand, quiet and tasteful says more than bold and busy.

Same van, same footage. Why the words differ:
- Instagram opens with a hook. One short line that stops the scroll, then straight to the point.
- Instagram gets the keywords in early. "Vehicle graphics", "Petersfield" and "Hampshire" all land in roughly the first 125 characters, the part people see before tapping "more".
- Instagram stays short and ends with five hashtags. It's built to be saved and shared.
- Facebook tells the story for a local audience. It explains who Lanzante are for anyone nearby who doesn't know, then walks through the brief.
- Facebook is longer and ends with a phone number. The question at the end invites comments, and the number is there for people ready to call.
The YouTube Shorts version gets its own searchable title too: "The most understated van we've done, on purpose | Vehicle graphics, Hampshire". On YouTube the title does the finding.
Do you need a filming day?
If you'd like me on site, I do filming days at £300 a day. Honestly, though, for most businesses some vertical clips from your phone are more than enough. The job is the interesting part, not the camera.
How to get started
Download the shot list first. It's two pages covering what to film on every job and how to film yourself. Then pick a pack: The Bark, The Howl or The Pack, from £250 a month. Or tell me about your business and I'll suggest where to start.
Questions people ask
Do I have to be on camera?
No. It helps if you're happy to talk to camera, because people like seeing who they'd be hiring. But clips of your team at work are plenty to build posts from.
How much does it cost?
My socials packs are The Bark at £250 a month, The Howl at £450 a month (the one most people pick) and The Pack at £750 a month. If you want me on site to film, that's £300 a day on top.
Can I just send photos?
Yes. A post can be a video, a single image or a carousel, so a good set of photos still makes a post. Video usually does more, which is why the shot list leans on short vertical clips.
